Don't Listen To Your Customer

“If I would have asked the customer what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse.” – Henry Ford

Innovation requires an impervious vision, a disciplined defiance to do what others haven’t done, and the courage to think what others haven’t thought.

Innovation, at times, starts with you not listening to your customer – The customer may not know they want it, but you know they will.

The customer isn’t always right!

Innovation sometimes requires an impairment of conventional wisdom. But at what dose do you take this poison? That is the fundamental question.
